“I picked up an issue of Cosmopolitan the other day that had tips for job interviews, because I was like, ‘I need to get better at interviews.’ The article was basically about how to get someone not to hate you in 20 minutes. Every single thing they told you not to do, I was like, ‘I do that every day.’” (Source: -kunis, via thefinalriots)

Past Hunger Games - 30th Hunger Games - airport
arena suggestion by stayalong4theride
The 30th annual Hunger Games took place at an abandoned airport and airplane graveyard. There was virtually no food available in the games, other than at what used to be the food court, which was controlled by the careers. Wendy, the victor from District 6, managed to escape the bloodbath with a canteen of water and some dried fruit, before venturing into the airfield. She moved from plane to plane, always keeping hidden. Eventually she was one of the only two tributes left. The other remaining tribute, the girl from District 3, came out looking for her, and Wendy managed to start up the plane’s engine, causing the propellers to completely destroy the other girl’s body. After winning the games, Wendy was disgusted by the fact that she had been able to do something so absolutely terrible. Being plagued by terrible flashbacks constantly, Wendy turned to drugs as a means to escape her own memories. At the age of 61, body and mind nearly destroyed by drugs, Wendy volunteered to participate in the 3rd Quarter Quell, hoping to save someone else who may have a chance at a decent life. Wendy died saving Peeta Mellark from mutts.

Past Hunger Games - 24th Hunger Games - fog
The 24th annual Hunger Games took place in what can only be described as ‘the fog’. The actual environment of the arena was never revealed, as everything was covered with such thick fog that it was impossible to see more than a few feet ahead. The bloodbath of this arena was not really a bloodbath at all, with the tributes stumbling about randomly, trying desperately to find a weapon or food. Most of the career tributes died on the first day because they were unable to identify one another in the fog, and ended up killing each other. Because it was so hard to see, finding food was nearly impossible, and many tributes died of starvation. Tributes were also killed by unseen mutts that would seemingly come out of nowhere and drag tributes into the mist. Seeder was able to avoid the mutts and other tributes using her acute hearing. Because she was from District 11, Seeder was used to always feeling hungry, and managed to outlast the other tributes who died of starvation. 51 years later, at the age of 66, Seeder competed and died in the 3rd Quarter Quell.
